MTC SAFETY PROTOCOLS
Updated 01/31/2023
This page contains the current safety protocols in place at MTC. All changes to our safety policies will be communicated right here and in emails sent prior to your performance.*
COVID-19 VACCINATION OR NEGATIVE PCR TEST AND VALID ID
All MTC staff have been vaccinated. In addition, all volunteers and visiting artists are required to provide proof of vaccination.
Guests do not need to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination nor a negative PCR test.
Guests will need to be fully vaccinated in order to enter MTC and must show proof of vaccination at their time of entry into the theatre with their valid ticket. “Fully vaccinated” means the performance date you are attending must be:
at least 14 days after your second dose of an FDA or WHO approved two dose COVID-19 vaccine, or
at least 14 days after your single dose of an FDA or WHO approved single dose COVID-19 vaccine.
After showing proof of vaccination, patrons ages 18+ will be asked to also provide a valid ID with a name that matches the name on your proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
OR
Guests may show a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of the performance. Antigen tests will not be accepted. Patrons ages 18+ will be asked to also provide a valid ID with a name that matches the name on their negative PCR test.
Anyone unable to show proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of the performance will be asked to leave with no option for a ticket exchange or refund.
MASKS
Masks are highly recommended, but not required. However, there may be some performances where masks are required. These will be noted on the specific production’s webpage. If you have questions, please reach out.
At this time all patrons are required to wear masks inside MTC regardless of vaccination status. Masks may be pulled down briefly while eating or drinking an item purchased from the concession stand/bar.
SEATING POLICY
Performances are sold at full capacity. There will not be spacing between parties. Patrons will not be allowed to move into empty seats during the performance.
SANITATION
Hand sanitizer is available in the lobby. MTC will continue to manage air systems the best we can.
*All health & safety protocols are subject to change at any time. By purchasing a ticket you are agreeing to abide by any changes. No refunds will be granted.
