Actors learn and rehearse the “Broadway Show-of-the-Week” and present their abridged performance at the end of the workshop! Full-Day includes two extra hours of fun theatre training with each day focusing on something new! Theatre training includes acting, singing, dancing, improvisation, puppetry, and more!
Only 20 actors per workshop!
Students must be able to read as they will often be reading from scripts.

Lunch, 12:30 - 1:00 (lunch is not provided)
Theatre Training, 1:00 - 3:00
The performance for each workshop will be presented in the evening, following the final rehearsal at 6:30pm. Performances are anywhere from 10-20 minutes.
Auditions
Auditions will be held on the evening of Wednesday, June 4th for ALL workshops. In May, an email will be sent out to families to sign up their child for an audition slot. Actors should come to auditions with a memorized audition song. A show tune, Disney song, or something similar is preferable, but whatever is comfortable to them, especially if this is their first ever audition, will be great. Songs should not be more than 1 minute long and backing tracks are not required. If using a backing track, please have it ready to go on a phone, tablet, or speaker.
The main reason for these auditions is for the directors to see their casts ahead of time, and to be able to assign roles that best fit each actor. This saves valuable time when rehearsals begin as well.

Synopsis
Legally Blonde The Musical follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes, snobbery and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. When Elle's boyfriend, Warner, dumps her and heads to Harvard, claiming she's not "serious" enough, Elle takes matters into her own hands, crafting a showy song-and-dance personal essay and charming her way into law school. Befriending classmate, Emmett, and spunky hairdresser, Paulette, along the way, Elle finds that books and looks aren't mutually exclusive. As Elle begins outsmarting her peers, she realizes that law may be her natural calling after all.
This will be a ~1.5 hour version of the show.
