SYNOPSIS:
Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka JR. follows enigmatic candy manufacturer Willy Wonka as they stage a contest by hiding golden tickets in five scrumptious candy bars. Whomever comes up with these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory, as well as a lifetime supply of candy. Four of the five winning children are insufferable brats, but the fifth is a likeable young kid named Charlie Bucket, who takes the tour in the company of their equally amiable grandparent. The children must learn to follow Wonka's rules in the factory — or suffer the consequences.

INFORMATION
On the bottom of this webpage you will be able to download and print a PERFORMER CONTRACT, SWAG FORM, PARENT VOLUNTEER FORM, and AUDITION FORM. These forms need to be filled out and turned in at auditions.
STUDENT PRODUCTION PRE-REQUISITES:
Students must be in at least second grade.
Students have to be currently registered in at least one class to participate in a production.
Students in Grades 2-5 must have completed at least two fall or spring terms at MTC or receive director approval.
AUDITIONS:
Thursday, February 1st from 4:15pm-7:15pm at MTC.
Student's parents will sign them up for an audition slot prior to audition day. An email will be sent out when it’s time to schedule these.
Each student must prepare a song of their choice to sing at the audition. It is recommended that they sing a Broadway/Disney show tune or a song from the show. They should sing no more than 1 minute of the song.
Please provide a track (no vocals) to sing with. Instrumental and karaoke tracks can be found on Youtube, Apple Music, Spotify, and other music streaming platforms.
Each student may be given a scene to read from the script. The total time you will need to be available for your audition is a maximum of 30 minutes.
