Based on Studs Terkel’s best-selling book of interviews with American workers, "Working: A Musical" is a vivid portrait of the men and women the world so often takes for granted: the schoolteacher, the waitress, the millworker, the mason, and the housewife, just to name a few. With music written by a slate of amazing composers that include James Taylor and Stephen Schwartz, "Working: A Musical" is a highly original look at the landscape of the American workplace, and how our careers inform and give meaning to our lives. "Working: A Musical" is performed by MTC Summer 2015 students, grades seven and up. The cast includes J.R. Champagne and Jason Iverson of Norwalk; Sydney Lovro and Natalie Vann of Westport; Caitlin Golynker, Katie Urquhart and Brittany Zacchia of Fairfield; Dean Kaduboski of Wilton; Madeleine Callaway of New Canaan; Emerson Delmonico of Milford and Isabel Sweeney of Riverside.
